Young families

We love welcoming young families to our Church, whether you're coming for a baptism, a wedding, or for one of our regular services. We know that children wriggle, run, and sometimes express themselves more loudly than adults and we're glad to see them participating in our services in their own ways. There's lots to see and do during a service, whether it's simply closing your eyes to pray or making a joyful noise during the hymns, so do help your children to join in as much as they are able.

We have a children's corner in the church, where children can play and draw whilst still joining in with the service. For babies and toddlers we have Pixies Playgroup at 10am, which runs on Friday mornings in term time. If your children are a little older you might like to come to our Family @ Four service which takes place from 4pm in the Church, generally on the second and fourth Sundays of the month (but please check the diary). They're  both great places to meet other young families, as well as to explore your faith together.

On a practical level, we have baby-changing facilities as well as toddler seats and steps in our accessible toilet, and we are very happy for you to feed your children during the service.
