National Highways have given us notice that they plan to demolish the Bagshot Heath footbridge on the weekend of the 9th/10th December. This is the footbridge that crosses the M3 and connects Bagshot to Lightwater country park. 

In order to do this, they must close the M3 from junction 3 to 4 in both directions.

The closure will last from 9pm Friday 8 to 6am Monday 11 December.

This is likely to cause significant traffic delays in Bagshot and all the surrounding areas. Officially the diversion will use the A30.
