Join our Welcome Team at Connect!

We are looking for more volunteers to join our welcome team at Connect Counselling Service.

What is Connect?

Connect is a counselling service in Camberley that offers counselling to those in Camberley and the surrounding areas.

What does the role require?

The welcome team volunteers staff the reception desk, answer incoming calls and welcome clients into the building. The volunteer provides an additional presence in the building while sessions take place. The role also involves supporting the Counselling Team Manager to book first appointments for clients on our waiting list.

You will be part of a wider team that enables Connect to run smoothly and for clients and counsellors to feel welcome here, in this quiet safe space.

Please contact Zoe our Operations Manager on opsmanager@connectcounselling.org.uk if you are interested in offering some time to Connect. Basic training will be provided. Please be aware that this role is subject to Connect's safe recruiting procedures and will require a reference and a DBS check, which we will organise.

We are specifically looking for support on Monday mornings 9am-12pm, Tuesday mornings 9am-12pm, Tuesday evenings 5pm-8pm, Thursday mornings 9am-12pm, Thursday afternoons 12pm-3pm.
