Connect Counselling Operations Manager - deadline 12th July

Connect Counselling Service is a charity that was founded in Camberley almost 30 years ago and offers general counselling services for adults over 18, couples and family therapy for groups of all ages. We are a Christian organisation serving the community, and we offer professional counselling to anyone irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, religion or ethnic origin. 

The Operations Manager is an exciting and challenging new role that has been developed as part of a strategic review of the charity. This person will manage the day-to-day operations of the charity, including all aspects relating to the efficient running of the office and its administration, volunteer management, upkeep and maintenance of the facility, whilst supporting the needs of the CEO, Counselling Team Manager and Counsellors.

We are seeking someone who: has proven interpersonal skills; is tech-savvy; has a good head for figures; is organised, self-motivated and able to work in a varied and changing environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive in systematising our processes, and suggesting ways to work more efficiently.

This role is 24 hours/week, spread across 3 or 4 days – the exact working hours/days will be agreed with the successful candidate. The pay band is £12 - £15 per hour / £14,976 - £18,720 per annum (FTE £24,960 - £31,200).
