Bishop Andrew writes to us all about the updated Diocesan Vision

Since 2016, our Diocesan vision has been Transforming Church, Transforming Lives. We needed to refresh our vision of a Transforming Church, Transforming Lives, building on what has been achieved in the past but looking to the future.
To create a new focus, we spent a long time praying and listening to feedback from our parishes, schools, communities and also the National Church.

Through this refocusing, we now have three key areas of focus:
Growing Disciples, Growing Diversity and Growing Community.  

We have already begun to embed these areas through our Parish Needs Process.
As an introduction to this, we are pleased to share this video with you – we have two versions, a shorter three minute one and a more extended eight minute one

Please share these with your PCCs and teams as you look at the Parish Needs Process, as they give an introduction to the focus of our strategy, and show examples of them in action across our parishes and schools. We will be sharing these on our website soon.
