You will all know that the Platinum Jubilee is taking place from 02 to 05 June this year. Together with many other organisations up and down the country St Anne's is also joining the celebrations.

The main activity taking place at St Anne's will be a historic photo exhibition of Bagshot. This will be on display in the church from Friday 03 June to Sunday 12 June. It will be accompanied by some artwork by the children from the two Bagshot schools as well as some flower arrangements by our church flower ladies.

The exhibition will be open most days from 11am to 2pm.

Entry is free (donations are welcome) and we will serve a cuppa and some cake for £3.

  • Thursday 02 June we will be having a beacon lighting event at 9.45pm outside the church. This will be a short (20min) event including the singing of one or two hymns, some readings and conclude with the singing of the National Anthem.
  • Friday 03 June the photo exhibition will open at 11am.
  • On Saturday 04 June the exhibition will be open from 11am to 5pm.
  • On Sunday 05 June the exhibition will be closed as we will have a Jubilee service at 10am followed by a 'bring your own' picnic in the vicarage garden (details will follow - but Andreas will have the BBQ going, so bring some meat/sausages etc. for yourself). This is open to anybody, church members, neighbours and friends. It is especially geared towards those who do not have a street party in their own neighbourhood.
  • The exhibition will then be open again from Monday 06 June to Sunday 12 June, each day from 11am to 2pm.
